7 Doors (Triq is-Sebgha) is a feature-length drama anthology made up of seven interconnected short films. Each story explores the life of a resident of the same street, with every protagonist embodying one of the seven deadly sins.
Beyond the shared themes, the films are bound together by a uniquely Maltese ritual: the passing of a statue of the Holy Mary from one household to another, week after week. As the statue enters each home, the narrative unfolds around that particular household, weaving intimate, personal tales that, while distinct, interlace into a broader portrait of a community shaped by faith, tradition, and hidden transgressions.
